On 19 June, 1889 in the family of
rich RIGA merchant Muhines the daughter Vera Muhina was born, a future
famous sculptor -monumentalise.
In 1912 for her education Vera Muhina improving to Paris, where is working under instruction of French sculptor E. Burdel. The Muhinas sculpture "Worker and Peasant Women’" had been met whith a fantastic success in the Paris exhibition in 1937. The memorial room of Vera Muhina exists thanks to undid-ferret sympathetic people. We welcome you for co-operation in the project of the sculpture Vera Muhina's 115th jubilee.
